Was Italy a United Nation in 1918? ?

I understand on legal terms Italy had become a 'United Nation' but to what extent was this actually true?

Hmm, Italy officially unified in 1861, gained Venice in 1866, and got Rome as its capital in 1871.

At this time, Italy was a kingdom, it became a republic during the course of the 20th century, when people did not want the royal family anymore, because of its openly support to the fascist regime of Mussolini.

If you are referring to the United Nations: Italy became a member of the U. N in 1955.

To be honest, I don't quite know what you mean.
